Become a bikanic

For either the aficionado who wants to run a shop at home or for or those who want to become professional techs. Aquire or improve professional skills in advanced bicycle mechanics. Training takes place in the beautiful city of Quito in South America, and includes the opportunity to ride through some of the most amazing Andean trails.

Cost of tuition includes training materials (+Bikanics apron). Airfare varies depending on location and season (average $550 from the US), Cost of room and board, including all three meals starts at $50.00 per day.  Trip extensions and tours are available.

Learn the basics of bicycle mechanics and how to service your bike through one on one training (at your location in Houston) at the same time that we complete a comprehensive  tune up (service entire bike). This course will  prepare you to deal with common bike issues that  arise during rides and competitions. Program starts with an assessment to determine areas of focus, and it includes assistance with acquiring the appropriate tool kit.
